A Roadmap to Net Zero

IKO had been operating sustainably but lacked a robust method to disclose carbon emissions and plan for Net Zero.

TEST conducted GHG Protocol baseline calculations to establish a carbon footprint and carried out decarbonisation audits. These audits identified CapEx opportunities to support IKO in achieving near- and long-term targets under the Science Based Targets initiative.

IKO have been acting environmentally responsibly without a robust data collection method to disclose their carbon emissions. The business was also under pressure to develop a plan on how they were going to reach Net Zero.

TEST carried out GHG protocol baseline calculations on behalf of IKO to create a starting point for IKO to track their progress towards Net Zero. Decarbonisation audits were then carried out to provide IKO with a list of Capex opportunities that can be planned to reach their near- and long-term targets set through the science-based targets initiative.
