THE CHALLENGE.

TEST Consulting was assigned to audit the transport operations and five key sites of a FTSE 100-listed distribution company, dealing with an annual energy use of 66 million kWh.

THE APPROACH.

The team conducted site visits, gathered extensive photographic evidence, and produced detailed energy performance reports. They identified 44 energy-saving opportunities, equating to savings of 3 million kWh and £462,000 annually, against an investment of £540,000. Additionally, the team reviewed alternative fuel transportation options, including hybrid, electric, and hydrogen vehicles, enhancing sustainability and efficiency.
