TEST conducted comprehensive site and energy audits, uncovering 1,030 energy-saving opportunities, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating improvements. These measures are projected to save £639,500 annually and cut 352 tonnes of carbon emissions per year, the equivalent of 16,762 trees.

The Co-operative Group sought to enhance sustainability by installing solar panels at 150 of their sites. A critical step in this process was the need for detailed site audits to evaluate roof suitability and plan hardware installation.

TEST efficiently conducted these essential site audits across all 150 locations, adhering to stringent standards and within the set deadlines. Our role extended beyond basic site auditing; we also performed comprehensive energy audits.

This process uncovered 1,030 additional energy-saving opportunities across the sites, including air conditioning control, refrigeration door maintenance, and heating decarbonisation.

These measures are projected to save The Co-operative Group £639,500 annually and reduce their carbon emissions by 352 tonnes per year, which is environmentally equivalent to the impact of 16,762 trees.

To ensure these improvements are sustained, TEST also provides ongoing monitoring and reporting for Co-op sites. This enables real-time performance tracking, early identification of issues, and continuous optimisation, helping the business maintain energy savings, reduce carbon emissions, and maximise the long-term value of its sustainability initiatives.
